Presented By The New England Patriots’ Patrick Chung

Dear Friends,

On Monday, May 17th Patrick Chung and I are heading up a 72 team golf tournament (already sold out) for AJ Quetta, Bishop Feehan High School senior, who suffered a life-altering spinal cord injury during a varsity hockey game a few months ago. AJ has attended many camps and I coached him on my Express team with my son Robbie. His dad is one of my closest friends and our families spent a lot of time together for a number of years. AJ isn’t just one of my former players, he is like a son to me, and I know without a shadow of doubt if it were my Robbie that the Quetta’s would be at the front of the line to do all they could. It is my truest wish to do whatever I can to help. I’ve been blessed in my life both personally and professionally to know so many generous individuals and organizations wanting to help support a great cause. It is my hopes to create a unity through such individuals and organizations to help my friends help their son by joining AJ’s Army.

The renovations to AJ’s home to accommodate his wheelchair, his handicap accessible automobile and other modifications are all significant costs not to mention his ongoing healthcare needs for the rest of his life. The tragedy that has stricken my friend and his son is one no one can imagine unless you’re close enough to experience it. It’s been heart wrenching for the Quetta’s since the accident to watch their funny, witty, athletic son who has such a love for life struggle with a debilitating injury. What we wish most is that they never have to choose a course of medical treatment due to financial strains and that AJ has access to the newest and most advanced care, treatment and equipment to give him the highest possible chance at walking again.

This is where I need your help. In conjunction with the 72-foursome tournament, we’ll be hosting an online auction to reach a national audience. We are need of high value items to capture the attention of bidders. It may be an experience, a professional skill/service, jewelry, vintage wines or liquors, designer handbags or accessories, vacations, autographed sports memorabilia, tickets to sporting events or other live events, houseware items (appliances, furniture, tools), etc. If you have access, or have a friend or associate  that may, I humbly ask that you consider aiding me in procuring such items.

Sincerely,

Rob Barletta
