Helena Rafferty
Helena Rafferty is a proud Feehan parent with three of her four children having attended the school. Her two sons, Aidan (18) and Colin (22) were hockey captains for the Shamrocks, and Colin was a teammate of AJ’s. Helena is the President of the non-profit charity, “Cops for Kids with Cancer”, the Executive Director of the Massachusetts Women in Law Enforcement (MAWLE), and the current Chief of Police in the Town of Canton, MA.
Gina Gillen
Gina Gillen lives in Lakeville, MA with her husband Bill. Her two children, Bri and Brad, are students at Bentley University and graduates of Bishop Feehan HS. Gina is a network marketer for a global health and wellness company which allows her to manage her time and volunteer whenever possible. She was heavily involved in the youth sports programs in her town as well as club lacrosse and AAU basketball. Gina has coached and held board positions in her town’s basketball and lacrosse programs. She is also a founding member and executive board member of Networking Group USA, a grass roots networking organization helping business owners grow through referrals.
Gina’s son Brad is a close friend of AJ Quetta. Brad suffered a spinal cord injury in his junior year in HS, and was beyond fortunate to have been released from Spaulding one month later with a near complete recovery. It is the friends, experiences, and willingness to give back that drives Gina and her entire family to make the AJ Quetta Invitational a success each and every year. Giving AJ the funds to access all the possibilities is so very important. The Gillen family is committed to the process.
Sheila Ahmed
Sheila is an avid volunteer. In addition to AJ’s Army, she is currently the President of the Board of Directors for the Natick Walpole VNA, which she has been an active member since 2004. She currently services as a District Enrollment Director for Dartmouth College Admissions and has been an active alumni interviewer since graduating in 1994. Her other volunteer experiences include 4 years as the Treasurer of Walpole Little League, as well as serving on the Town of Walpole’s Finance Committee for 6 years.
Sheila currently serves as the SVP of Operations at the Service Council and has over 25 years experience in finance, sales, marketing, customer success and business development.
The Ahmeds are close family friends with the Quetta family and are dedicated to raising funds for AJ so that he may receive the best possible care on his road to recovery.
Sonny Patel
Sonny Patel is a healthcare and technology executive working for corporations such as Atrium Innovations – a Nestlé Company, Dell EMC, and others. Sonny is on the board of 501 (c)3 non-profit boards HASKD (Have a Sammi Kinda Day) and LIT conversations. Sonny headed up a 550 person event for the non-profit “Bullet Proof Vests for K9’s”, which supported all our Massachusetts K9’s, and has also headed up toy drives over the holiday season the last 10 years raising over 30,000 toys for our local communities.
Angela Mazzotta-Filice
Angela’s boys both play youth hockey, and after learning about AJ’s Army in 2021, she became an integral part of AJ’s Army leadership team to help make a difference in AJ’s life.
Dorothy Rotondo
Dave and Dorothy lost their daughter Olivia back in August of 2013 at the age of 20. They were determined to turn such an unimaginable loss into something good. They started the LivForYou Foundation www.livforyou.org. The “LivForYou Foundation, a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization, was created with the intention to honor the qualities of Olivia’s life that made her unique. The LivForYou Foundation has awarded Scholarships to so many talented Students for the past nine years, as well as being a top supporter to Camp Erin of Boston. Dorothy, David and Julianne have been proud Board Members of their Foundation for the past nine years.
The Quetta family have been close family friends with the Rotondo’s for quite some time. The LivForYou Foundation in an effort to enrich the life of AJ Quetta supported the Quetta family be leading one of the first fundraisers. Selling T-shirts and bracelets seemed a small gesture at first, but the support that followed was unstoppable. Volunteering and raising funds so that AJ can have access to all the possibilities for his well being is the Goal. The Rotondo family is committed to the process.
Jennifer Franzosa
Jen Franzosa has strong ties to the Bishop Feehan community. Her daughter Kate is a 2020 graduate, her son Thomas (currently a Senior) is a Captain of the hockey team and former line mate of AJ Quetta, while her husband Dave is the current Head Coach of the Boys Varsity Hockey team. AJ was a role model for Thomas, on and off the ice, at Bishop Feehan, and continues to be today as one of Thomas’ coaches. Jen loves volunteering for a great cause and is committed to doing her part to make sure AJ gets every aspect needed on his road to recovery.
