Dear AJ Supporters
Wow I can’t believe it has been a week since the event took place. On behalf of myself, Chrissy, Pat and the Quetta Family, we would like to thank you for your contribution to our 1st Annual Golf Tournament. God was smiling down on us and blessed us with a perfect and sunny day, with 40 celebrities, 324 golfers followed by a live auction and dinner for 460. There were so many people who stepped up and helped out and I can sincerely say that without everyone helping out this event would have never happened.
With everyone’s support the tournament was amazing. The Quetta invitational will definitely be an annual Golf Tournament that will continue to bring the community together while supporting our mission to provide long-term financial and emotional support to AJ and the Quetta family. Since the tournament I have been in contact with so many of the golfers and with all the celebrities. I have been told by multiple people that with your help we just set a new standard for golf tournaments!
We decided to extend the online auction through Thursday, May 27th after AJ was invited to be the banner boy for the Bruins at game six. Since the Bruins won in game five AJ has now been invited to attend the first home game of the second round. During the game, the auction will receive national coverage potentially gaining more bidders. We will be extending the auction till the day after the first home game of the second round. There are many items that have a significant higher value than what the current bids are, and we feel this could better support or end goal to raise the most funds possible for AJ’s medical care. We have reached out to many of the current bid leaders and the ones we spoke with were all in agreement for extending the auction until AJ was on the Bruins.
